9/11 Tribute 5K Run/1 Mile Walk, 2K Junior Run

Race Information:
5K (for 8 years and older): Course is USTAF Certified, single loop in Glen Rock beginning and ending at Veterans Park on Main St.; 2 water stops, split times.
2K Junior Run for 10 and under (parents welcome to run with children): the course is a single loop in Glen Rock beginning and ending at Veterans Park on Main St.
Both runs will utilize the new DTAG Timing System. T-shirts to first 500 registrants.
Registration: 7:30-8:45am
Start time: 9:00am (8:55am line-up)
Race packets will also be available for pick-up on Saturday July 3rd from 10am-12pm at Veterans Park in Glen Rock.
Fees:
5K -$20 by 7/1/10; $25 after 7/1/10;
2K -$10 individual; $20 family (3+ people) by 7/1/10
$15 individual; $20 family (3+ people) after 7/1/10
Walk: by donation
Awards: 5K Awards: Top three overall male and female; Top Glen Rock finishers, male and female; 14 and under, 15-19, 20 and older in ten year increments; no repeat winners
2K Awards: Top three overall male and female; Ribbons to all finishers.
Directions to Veterans Park,
Glen Rock, NJ
From Rt. 208: Take Maple Ave North exit. Follow Maple Ave about a ½ mile & make a left on Bradford St. Park is at the end of Bradford on your right across from the railroad tracks.
From the Garden State Parkway North: Take exit 160 (1st exit after the Bergen toll). Make a left at the end of the exit ramp. Go through three lights (pass Loehmann’s & Wendy’s on your right). Just after overpass make right following the signs for Rt. 4/Rt. 208 & Fair Lawn. That will put you on Rt. 4 west. Take Rt. 4 west to Rt. 208 North and follow the above directions.
From Rt. 17: Take the Midwood Ave exit towards Glen Rock (west). Midwood Ave turns into Grove Street. Follow to Prospect St. (traffic light) and make left. Make right onto Rock Rd. Follow to Maple Ave & make a left. Follow to Bradford St. & make a right. Veterans Park is at the end on the right.
3 Parking Locations:
1)Bergen Train Station Lot (enter from Maple Ave)- from lot make left onto
Rock Road then left onto Main St.
2) Main Line Station Lot - for runners staying for the Parade
3) Bradford St.
Please note that Rodney Street may be closed to traffic.
